The Provence region is the cradle of the great French rosés and this is precisely the origin of Miraval Rosé 2019, the sophisticated wine whose latest vintage we bring you. The vineyards from which this singular rosé comes from are located in the 600 hectares, located in the village of Correns, that make up the estate of Château Miraval, a winery that was owned by actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, before their separation, in partnership with the prestigious Perrin family, owner of Château Beaucastel, in the Rhône.
Once the best cinsault, grenache, rolle (also known as vermentino) and syrah grapes were harvested and selected by hand from the vineyards, the first three varieties were pressed directly, as soon as they arrived in the cellar, while the syrah was vinified by bleeding, a method that gives the most appreciated rosés of the A.O.C. Côtes de Provence their characteristic delicate tone. Ninety-five percent of the wine obtained was fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and the remaining five percent in barrels with batonnage. With its aromatic nose and refreshing acidity and saline finish, Miraval Rosé 2019 is ideal for pairing with salads, fresh pasta dishes with vegetables, sushi, white and red meats and desserts with strawberries and berries.
